I’m Wilhelm Baur

Thank you for visiting my website. I’m Wilhelm Baur, a college student in Rolla, Missouri. I’ve had an interest in vintage cars, specifically those from the pre-1970s era, for as long as I can remember. My interest in expanding my STEM knowledge turned into a passion in 2016, when I first started working on my pet project, the Sherwood Crumpet (#sherwoodcrumpet). Since 2016, I have worked to restore over 10 vehicles from all over the globe. My favorites of everything I’ve meddled with include a 1983 Mercedes and a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer “Woodie”.

I’m currently a sophomore and have been accepted to a university to study mechanical engineering at the School of Mines! (Missouri S&T). I am a hard worker, a creative problem solver, and learning all things STEM. From Robotics to engines to engineering.
